Fill yourself and your guests up with these delicious
and hearty homestyle dishes. Nobody leaves hungry

The recipe pages will also contain an area of gift baskets and great places to mail
order gourmet items, coffees, teas, wines, nuts and desserts. You'll also find suggestions
for great shops that offer table linens, dishes and candles for your special gatherings

Many of the recipes have been changed or edited, and were adapted for my tastes
and those of my guests. Some recipes don't have the number of servings listed and
you'll have to experiment. A number of recipes might alsoinclude an African influence,
as well as carribbean or cajun. These are not to be copied and published on the
web or posted on any recipe page or webring/newsgroup "Copycat" restaurant
recipes are found all over the web and in recipe webrings Most recipes come
from my recipe file and were saved from southern style magazine features,
or written down during those cool cooking shows on the food channel

A page on Gullah history was compiled from several sources over the years,
including the Beaufort County Public Library, from my visits to
Charleston, on the web, in my recipe files, and from visitor brochures
